This project is based on drawings I made over two weeks before February 24, 2022. It was my response to the deafening words that nothing would happen, that horror would pass us by. At that time, I could only contemplate and experience growing anxiety through small black figures. There is no conscious play of symbols or allusions to sacredness in them. Only movement and the growing cacophony from all sides. The hatred of humanity, the grinding of tank teeth. The one that devours the sun, the one that tears apart words.
