Telesyk is a phantasmagoric hero of the Ukrainian epic, who tirelessly performs metamodernist actions and closes postcolonial gestalts. An image inspired by Ivan Kotlyarevsky’s “Aeneid” and the traditional Ukrainian nativity scene. Therefore, he is ironic, travesty, and combines elements of mass and traditional culture, embodying the formation of modern Ukrainian identity.

Telesyk is a smiling shadow of the Ukrainian subconscious, an ironic allusion to the image of the Cossack Mamai, whose name means “nobody”. Therefore, Telesyk can be anyone.
